Just came home from the farmer's market with 1/2 bushel of sweet Georgia peaches! mmmmm.... About to start making jam and putting it in jars for the winter. Love it!
I love going to Farmer's Markets. They are so much fun! Only, in Florida, it's hot 99% of the time, so you should be prepared to sweat. But everything tastes better than it does from the supermarket. Maybe some peach cobbler?
I think it is the heat and humidity down there that leads to the insurance of such great peaches. I have never tasted them as sweet as in GA and FL. I mean, peaches are pretty much good everywhere, but they are GREAT down South. Peach cobbler sounds amazing, you guys are making my mouth water!
