Free landscaping

Ah, DH! He's really into landscaping our home and so he frequents big box home improvement stores and other stores with garden centers. Well, he frequents their racks out by the trash and I cannot tell you how many $'s worth of plants he's salvaged (they throw away things that may be on their last leg, but not dead!) Our home looks better than ever thanks to his efforts.

    I've always wanted to drive around back of the store and see what i could find, but i was always afraid i'd be arrested or something.

    LOL - Fern! I was thinking the same thing. My DH has done this in the past and I always felt like we were doing something wrong.

    fern - As long as your city ordinances permit it, you should be able to dumpster dive!

    What a great idea, especially for plants if you have a green thumb.
